This is a compendium of the Amsterdam I see today: channels, bridges, trees, boats and bicycles. Obvioulsy, my view is limited because I'm walking in a certain area of historical center; but, in photography, I like to forget the parts of reality which I dislike, so that my pictures' world could result more happy.
Matteo's bike needs reparations around front derailleur, and this is probably the most cycling town of the world; but here usual bikes are almost all of a certain type, different from our one; so that we are unable to find a mechanical assistance useful for the derailleur. A local girl sees that we are looking at a map and offers her help to find a good bike shop: very friendly! But it is useless. At the end we will find a place out of the center, derailleur will be repaired, but the price for the service will be a shock. So high!!
