Where are The Netherlands?
Today we leave Germany and enter The Netherlands. Here we have no map, but bicycle paths are usually well signed. Apart from some crossings. One of them makes us lose the way, so we have to return back; around one hour passes.
Our way is the LF7 Cycle Path, the first town is Maastricht. A different atmosphere appears soon: vivacity everywhere! More than in Italy. Maastricht is really crowded of bicycles going everywhere, even with two persons. After lunch, we are leaving the main square cycling our bikes, but from behind we hear a far shout: "wait! wait!"... two students reach us and ask where we was coming from, and where we was going to. They make us feel "important". On the next bridge a tourist shots a photo with us. Very friendly!
However there is something strange today. A complete flat land was expected: instead there are only ascents. And some descents. Also, the road is the most intricated way I could imagine: never straight. Also, there is a very large number of people who unfortunately can't walk, and use auxiliary tools. Ah, I was forgetting the ghost villages, and the agricultural machines which persecute you.
Last but not least, we thought to be in The Netherlands but at a certain moment we see that we were cycling in Belgium. Accomodation in a hotel, obviously singular, of Maseik; a small [ghost] town which is somewhere in the space.

Stunned by all these strangenesses :), and also "maybe" for a bit of nostalgia of home, we decide to change program of travel and to conclude the adventure in Amsterdam; we'll arrive in Denmark in another tour.
