In the morning, I buy a new camera in Straubing center. Straubing seems a place full of cars and nothing else, so there is also nothing else to do and we can easily start... and stop after few minutes in the next Regensburg, a medium town very interesting for tourism, to buy several guides for the next days. It would be advisable stopping a lot in Regensburg: it seems full of attractive elements. Useful for a future trip, having more time.
Few km and we left Danube, entering in the Altmuehl Valley: a fascinating natural park. Its main river here is crowded with canoes, hundreds of people take a boat in upper places and go down along the waves with bags etc... No cascades, and beautiful landscapes. Very nice way of travelling.
Today I am self-limited: speed under 20 km/h always, even if the Altmuehl Cycle Path is practically always flat, because I feel my musculature a bit tired.
Riedemburg is a little river-village. Accomodation in the Spartan camping along the river, close to a big factory of beer. There is time only to buy something at supermarket, and then return to the tent and dinner in the dark. As usual. But with no rain, this night.
