Nostalgia.
In the first day after Vienna, the memory remains vivid; reality shades, it seems to have to turn at the next cross and find again that intercontinental atmosphere... After Innsbruck, Vienna took my heart even more. So now I know, I must return.

Our scheduled road returns to Passau and then proceeds along Danube; we decide to catch the train till Passau, to not repeat the part which we saw in the last days, and to gain a bit of time.
An employee at informations office of Westbahnof is not so gentle; for him there is no place for us in the trains and stop. So we change office; now another employee is much more quiet and careful, he finds the train exactly for us: a vintage, slow, touristic train Vienna-Passau, dedicated to bikers. Perfect!
In Passau I throw out some ballast (guides which became useless, the broken camera and its films, some clothes buyed in Vienna): shipped via post to my family.
And then, go! The German part of the ride starts. Fast, very fast, maybe today is the fastest day of ever... Danube Cycle Path in this portion has more country and less river, so all is more various and interesting; there is always a good surface, and wind from rear. We arrive in Straubing's camping late in the evening, all is closed and we have nothing to eat. There is not even a bar. Fortunately, rain is not missing :)
A traveller offers something to eat. Thank you a lot!
